2010. Welcome.
This year is going to be a great one, I already know it. Here are just a few great things that I have to look forward to (and yes, i did steal this idea from my roomie, thanks Leah!):
1. Arts Semester
I started the actual program for my major (Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Emphasis) this semester and I get to take awesome classes like dance and drama. its going to be so much fun!
2. Washington D.C.

My brother and sister-in-law live there, so a trip sometime this year is gonna happen.
3. Paris.

My roommates and I are going to Paris, as soon as I get a job (anyone know of any openings?! I’m desperate!).
4. Ghana

This summer I am going to teach in an underprivileged preschool in Ghana. I’ll be living with a native and working (without pay) for 5 weeks, then my family is going to come and we’re going to do some sight-seeing.
5. The gap between my best friend and I is going to shrink from one thousand miles to ZERO. :)
And although I will be doing a lot of travelling this year, I still feel like these lyrics are currently my theme song. If they were true I could do so much more.
"I wish the world was flat like the old days
Then I could travel just by folding a map
No more airplanes, or speedtrains, or freeways
There'd be no distance that can hold us back"
-Death Cab for Cutie
